BARNSTABLE ASSOCIATION
OFFICERS & COMMITTEE MEMBERS

The Barnstable Association was founded in 1828 to provide ministerial authorization, mission outreach, fellowship, and resources to Congregational Churches of the Cape and Islands. It is affliated with the Massachusetts Conference of the United Church of Christ. www.macucc.org. Through its member churches, laity, and ministers, the Association seeks "to express its oneness in Christ, to make common witness to Christ, and to serve Christ's Kingdom in this world." While a church may be a member of the Association, this does not mean that the church is a member of the United Church of Christ. UCC member churches are those congregations that have specifically voted to be members.         

Terms usually begin at the Association's Spring meeting each year, held in April or May.
